Not a good match up at all, but not bad considering it's a stay busy, regular HBO fight. Oscar's gotta be disappointed.

I'll go with the convenient NSB excuse on this one- "It'll be a great fight while it lasts".
Cotto didnt want the fight. He would rather be in bed with his friend :bukkake:

Wow, people say this is a bad fight, but it could be great.
It's not Canelo's fault that Cotto couldn't make the fight happen (how long does it take).
It is obvious that Floyd and Cotto are going to fight (they both are using Manny and Canelo as bargaining pawns).
Who else would you rather see him fight? Lara just runs, at least Kirkland will not run.
Kirkland has a chance, it not a for sure thing, the way him and Ann Wolfe train is harder than anything Canelo has been though, people forget Cotto's brother hurt Canelo, he definitely has a puncher's chance.
No way it goes the distance, who could hate a fight knowing that going in.

As for the Lara fight the kid surely lose that one but Oscar paid off the judge's. But with Kirkland, Oscar can pay whoever and even slip James some cash but he's still going to knock this boy out and keep the money. I seriously doubt Oscar has the balls to even ask James for his money back. Hell given Oscar's physical state I'd take Ann over hus coked up zza. ..
Hell I'm surprised Anne Wolfe hasn't kicked Kirkland's azz before now the way he let her and Pops Billingsly down time after time. Kirkland is a street punk He'll always be a street punk. If he's winning he's a beast if the guy fights back he folds. Don't come with the Angulo fight either Angulo beat himself punched himself out had nothing left. Richard Lord from Austin Tx was offered Kirkland to train he said NO. Richard knows his fighters

It has a possibility of being a decent fight but lets not get it twisted, Kirkland doesn't have much of a chance if any, he will not win any of the exchanges and he's gonna get clipped with something hard as early as the 1st round.

Kirkland is too squared up, too many defensive holes and it's not like he has the chin to compensate for any of that.

I highly doubt that. Kirkland would have to go wild and run into something big. Canelo is very patient and I don't see him going for the KO in the first 6 rounds. It took him 6 rounds to KO Gomez, 5 to KO Lopez, 5 to KO Cintron, UD'ed Matthew Hatton, etc. I doubt he gets Kirkland out of there in 3 rounds. Expect Canelo to outbox him, dodge, use defense, counter, move back, use the ring and then possibly stop him late. Probably Ann Wolfe stops it if Kirkland is way too behind on the scorecards and hasn't hit Canelo with anything significant because Canelo is a good blocker, and is just taking clean shots all night.

You are a ******. Floyd never hurt a weight-drained canelo. Trout was almost koed, go to a school for blind people. Lara mostly ran and hugged just hitting like a girl for a couple of times. Floyd pays the judges, has lost at least three or four times, fights bums and is a coward. So STFU hater and go to sleep with your " slick " , boring fighters.

I assume this will be another fight at Canelo's favorite weight of 155.....lol!!
