Everyone talks sht about catchweights until their favorite fighter has a catchweight fight... (See FIomos when Floyd fought Marquez and Canelo)

Rematch with mayweather earns him more money actually that's why people have been saying he was holding out waiting on mayweather decision before agreeing with canelo

I agree a june date would be ideal, but mayweather is a child and feels that may 2nd is for the premier fighter of the sport, he ain't moving off of it.

Yeah exactly i don't see HBO letting GB announce the fight when they're only a week away from pac's deadline unless they were absolutely sure. I would say this is another sign the network deal is done, but they cannot get mayweather on board. just my opinion obviously.

Let me add tho, absolutely love the fight. Not cotto obviously, but still a great fight.

Canelo-Kirkland is not as competitive as some people are making it out to be. Kirkland has had 1 fight in three years and stylistically doesn't have much of a chance or the chin to take what he's going to consistently get hit with.

Other than that, Canelo doesn't bring in huge numbers anyway.

$70 pffft... Floyd is going to make way less against Cotto... and Cotto's going to demand more than Canelo is offering... so they are going to have to charge $90 for that PPV..that PPV has disaster written all over it going up against Canelo...

Well Garcia fought against "The boggeyman of the 140's" Matthysse so you could argue that he earned his spot, but you don't go from Matthysse to Lighning Rod Salka if you a true champion.

Trout (post Cotto) - Mayweather (Best p4p) - Angulo (dude who knocked down the boggeyman twice) - Lara (The boggeyman itself ) - Kirkland ( can't tell till I know if he's with Ann Wollfe)

Of course haters gonna hate and they will never give the kid his props.

Canelo isn't a big draw? LOL.. Floyd has basically lived off Canelo's name for all of his PPVs...without Canelo Floyd doesn't break a mil or even close to it..and he has the all time record with Canelo

If you're that dumb I can't help you. Canelo didn't break 350,000 against Angulo or Lara. Even without a name opponent Mayweather pulls in 800-900,000 viewers.

                      Is that comparable to you?
