I think it's a brilliant move by oscar.....this actually forces mayweather into an even tighter corner......May 2nd is a Mexican holiday and now the only way mayweather can make showtime and himself great numbers on ppv is fight pacquiao ....Mexican and Hispanics will side with canelo if there is no pacquiao vs mayweather ....puts pressure on showtime to deliver something special......the date stays with the cinco de mayo for canelo if no floyd vs pac...if it gets signed then oscar will simply reschedule the date.......I think it's payback for cotto for making de la Hoya wait and he won't make so much money as well .....it's cat and mouse for sure

• Kirkland doesn't pull out of the fight as he's done before vs. Canelo and Rosado

...and those are very big ifs, but if both of the above come to fruition, Kirkland folds Canelo before 12.
