Actually, it ranged from 15% - 22% returns for minimum was 15%. So you're saying 15% ROI, every year, for 36 consecutive years sounds reasonable? Bernie Madoff never had a losing year.

Have you seen that fight BTW?? Did you see the flagrant headbutts that Holyfield was giving out with no warnings from referee ??? Mike lost it yeah but you can understand why he lost it
Mayweather got butted by Ortiz when Ortiz got fed up with being continually held & elbow smashed. Mayweathers reaction was to cowardly cold **** a completely defenceless Ortiz with his hardest combination. Then the straw that broke the camels back was when he claims his cowardice as a KO win lol

I never qualified it as reasonable or not. You are the one that is comparing Madoffs 15% to a 300000% return. Completely different ballpark. Different planets even.

And it not that it changes my point or is super important, but you are off about the details. 15% was not minimum and the average over 36 years was not between 15%-22%.

Not that it matters, still not comparable to the scam pulled on Floyd.

After many years of returns in the range of 12% to 15%, in recent times the profits have been in the high single digits at times.

Floyd Mayweather is the hightest paid athlete for the last 3 years.. Apparently he can lose $15million and still be alright. His house is paid for.. And guess what, when he retires, he can make money as a trainer, promoter, analyst if he chooses. You can't even compare how Bill Gates or Warren Buffet lives to Mayweather, they spend and make millions more than Mayweather. Bill Gates mansion alone cost $64 million to build. If Mayweather built a $64 million house, you would talk **** about him. Are you going to wonder about Mayweather in your deathbed as well?
I didn't talk about any rule book - there are ways to do it and there are ways to do it. To me, his behavior is tasteless and disgusting.

Mayweather is obviously the type who needs constant attention and approval from his surroundings. I have no interest in how much he paid for his house - let him live in a 100 million dollar mansion if that's what he needs. But this kind of behavior with money is nauseating, just like Broner flushing cash down the toilet. Maybe you think it's cool, but I say donate that cash instead of throwing them around. Who the hell needs 20 supercars anyway, and just for the cameras. I wouldn't spend money that way even if I had 'em.

Actually there is a book, figuratively speaking for how rich people behave. one of their characteristics is not to waste dollars because they seem to know the value of letting dollars compound. And if you think mayweathr can stand to lose that 15 mil your nuts.

Yes they are different planets, in terms of some people losing their life savings (some didn't), but no one ever said otherwise, so its silly and strange to bring it up.

We're talking about the expected return from the two scams, and they are not comparable at all, to claim that it is, to compare a 15% return to a damned 30,000% return is not comparable. The ******ity of expecting a 15% return vs a 30,000% return, that was the point, try staying focused.

You said I was wrong about the Maddof details. Turns out you were the one that is wrong, both times. Fine. Innocent mistake maybe. But now you are doubling down and throwing out straw-man arguments that no one was arguing against?

Funny how even on an anonymous forum, when some people are contradicted and proved that what they are saying is wrong, they cannot help keep reflexively arguing back. I don't know why people find ego management is so important on an anonymous forum. Guess it is just human behavior.
