Buddy..like I said, floyds got nothing to do with the network negotiations. I'm talking about the terms that concern the two fighters(purse split, ring size, gloves, etc). It is said that they have been ironed out, and the only things that need to be agreed upon are the network terms, and yes I know that tAkes time. You do realize that the only reason why this fight is so massive is because it involves both may and pac. HBO will not bow down to ALL floyds demands like you think they should. That's just not realistic. Floyd makes 120 fighting pac. He fights anyone else, he makes 30m+ give or take. HBO knows this, therefore they will only take the "b side" role to a certain extent. And just for the record you don't need to keep telling everyone your a pac fan. Just keep it real dude.

I tell ppl off bat that i ride with pac, bc everywhere i go his fans are so die hard that they dont understand boxing isnt about winning in the media..it's a fight be fight thing..u have to look deep and see wat can be done to make a fight especially after 6 years..HBO has no bargainin chip here withou mayweather they are doing 300k and planning a vargas fight,.if they dont agree to mayweather haymon wont give them khan..so yess floyd might lose 50 million, but he will go make 80 million fightin cotto..and yes showtime has confirmed that floyd is the boss..they take the final talks back to him and he confirms them or denies them...so hbo should start at the bare off and work up 15-25% on everything they can...then tell manny to take him out..THAT IS HOW IT WORKS..

i'm one of the only pacquiao fans i respect..u cant keep letting the media kill the fight hopign floyd wont be recognized as the best if he doesnt fight pac..b/c he will be he will still go in the hall he will still be rich..only thing that can screw with his resume is pac IN THE RING not outside it..pac should talk to hbo not the media and to his fan base..do u not agree that if hbo gives in as well as pac floyd has no where to run or hide?? do u not agree that will make him look like a ***** if even the network gives in and he still doesnt take the fight?

HBO has some bargaining chips. Cotto-Mayweather isn't going to net Showtime as much money as Pac-Mayweather even if they have split that with HBO.

Also HBO could put Canelo-Kirkland against the Mayweather PPV, which would split the market on that date.

Showtime also has to fulfill Mayweather's guarantee while I think Pacquiao has a more flexible deal so even if he does fight Vargas (which wont sell 200K) they wont be at that big of a loss.
