Ok...prior to the 300k they did around 800k with bradley. Don't you think the reason numbers were so low for the algy fight was because he was a complete unknown. HBO has some bargaining chips. Cotto-Mayweather isn't going to net Showtime as much money as Pac-Mayweather even if they have split that with HBO.

Also HBO could put Canelo-Kirkland against the Mayweather PPV, which would split the market on that date.

Showtime also has to fulfill Mayweather's guarantee while I think Pacquiao has a more flexible deal so even if he does fight Vargas (which wont sell 200K) they wont be at that big of a loss.

floyd already made 80million with cotto..this time its even bigger for the 160 belt..cotto still on everyone p4p list after ko'ing sergio as well..u can hope all u want but i know floyd cotto does 1.5 or more again..they will tour every damn where probably even puerto rico

another think 800k was topped by floyd vs a fairly unknown maidana..its pac's fault he lost his buzz b/c he shouldnt have been fightin algieri..right? in all fairness...bob arum has ruined him imo..his last 3 ppvs are likely at about 1.55 million all together...that is not good at all man

yes my mistake floyd earned over 100 with canelo after all ppv..and he make a little over 60with cotto...either way thats a hell of a lot better than wat hbo's back up plan is..vargas..thats 200k buys..
