Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury: Klitschko Shot First, Then Wilder Unification

Fury never ducks anybody, he is talking business. He is already WBO mandatory for Klitschko, so he isn't in any real rush unless Vlad decides it is retirement time real soon. But Vlad wants to unify before, so...Comment

Translation: Fury can't beat either, so he would rather take the biggest money fight (Wlad). Can't blame him for that.Comment

Haha, no, because Klitschko is officially fighting Jennings in April. So Fury has got plenty of time to fight Wilder before the Klitschko shot. If he is that good as he says it can't be a big problem for him. But I guess he wants to cash out and he knows exactly that he would lose to both of them hence he chooses Klitschko for the 3 belts and probably for bigger money.
I don't say it's not logical but he won't mislead nobody with this talk. He proved plenty of times already. No warrior soul here just a guy who knows his limitations and wants to cash out. This wouldn't be a big problem in it's own but this guy talks always like he would be such a big deal. He just wanted to cash out in his whole career with the least amount of risk. First he turned down a Pulev eliminator cause a Haye fight. He knew exactly that he would lose both of them but Haye would be way bigger money for him so he chose Haye regardless of a title shot if he beat Pulev (he knew that he also wouldn't beat Pulev) after that he cruised his way to a title shot through Chisora (imo Wilder just with his Stiverne win owns Fury's whole carreer) and now the situation is similar. He knows that Wilder and Wlad both beat him but he chooses Wlad because he wants to cash out. That's all. Now the only thing I want his fans to stop claim that this guy is such a big deal. He proved several times that he doesn't trust fully in himself. The guy is all talk. If he would be that confident as he try to show everytime, he should fight first Wilder during Wlad is fighting Jennings.Last edited by HEND; 01-21-2015, 10:17 AM.Comment

All this arguing over who is ducking who is kind of moot.Tyson Fury insists he is fully focused on his most "accomplished" opponent, Christian Hammer, despite the potential lure of a meeting with new WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.
Wilder won the title on Saturday night with a points victory over Bermane Stiverne and, as well as declaring his intent to take on Wladimir Klitschko, the 29-year-old also name-checked Fury as a future opponent.
Fury, the European and WBO international heavyweight champion and mandatory challenger for Klitschko's WBO title after his win over Dereck Chisora last year, will meet Hammer at London's O2 Arena on February 28 and is hopeful of meeting Klitschko later in 2015.

Klitschko has signed to fight Jennings ,Fury has the Hammer coming
up, Wilder is on the injured list until at least March so he will not
even be able to considering anyone until after march.
Then Wilder will fight a no hoper to make sure the injury is healed.Comment

That's logical and true. But truth and logic don't mean anything to "haters." As this post proves:All this arguing over who is ducking who is kind of moot.

Hopefully he maintains a more mature approach. Not that he should get all boring and all, he should still be the joker he always was, he can be helluva fun listening to! He has some golden moments and quotesHe's just posted this, certainly more respectful than he has been in the past.

Fury was offered 3 million to fight David Haye, so obviously he was going to turn down Pulev, a guy who at the time was unknown to everyone bar hardcore boxing fans. If the Haye fight wasn't offered, I'm sure he would've fought him no problem.Haha, no, because Klitschko is officially fighting Jennings in April. The reason he fought Chisora was Frank Warren offering him a stack of cash for it. Haye had just cancelled the fight for a second time, and Fury had to pay his bills. What's the issue here?Comment
