Postponed? If a fighter fails a test there's a good chance the fight never happens.

I'm just saying, I can understand it from the financial side. Nevertheless, I think they should test.

I'd take the risk, Pascal has passed testing before if they're confident in their own fighter they should go ahead.
Point is that you justify Duva's stance by referring to Money and Financial risk.

Pascal is actually right to want testing, but he should've got it in writing when signing the contract.

Why doesn't he just say he's not fighting without testing and pull out if he feels this strongly about it, back up his talk with action.
Those above being said, I guess that Pascal will receive a special treatment in the ring from da Russian killa'...

Duva will be waiting forever for that to happen, fighters have to take action today to protect themselves (although at the contractual stage makes a lot more sense than after it).

Not justifying it but I recognise it's a shitty situation for small promoters, it could put them in the red.

My guess is that he's doing it for show, like in the case vs Hopkins, since he knows he's likely to lose he wants people to think it's because the opponent is on PEDs, when he's the more likely subject to be on PEDs than said opponents.

And yeah, Kovalev has a level of hate for Pascal for pulling this stunt, no doubt.

Usually professional athletes (boxers included) aren't completely aware of what their teams are putting them to swallow all the time...

... I'm almost sure that Algieri (who is a professional nutritionist himself) is the only one fully in control with what is entering in his system...

Point is that you understand their situation. Money over Health.

Kovalev is dirty! All boxers should be randomly tested all year round just like they are in Britain, but boxing is that corrupt in America promoters don't care

... Back in the communist era, I was well connected with the specialised "medical institute" (in my country) which was in charge with the olympic level training of athletes... That "medical institute" undertook two lines of activities: 1) scientific top level training programmes; 2) scientific use of medication (PEDs included) and scientific research on how to hide the use of PEDs by athletes...

                  Anything else?

It took them awhile to catch Larry Olubamiwo.

Kovalev would never be caught with no testing whatsoever taking place.
