"im my own boss. he has a boss" i didn't know floyd signs his own checks

its also pretty ****** for him to say that pacquiao hasn't agreed to it cuz hes "now his own boss", because a promoter can do his damnest to have a contract signed, but what happens when the fighter doesn't sign the said contract? So again thats ****** on mayweather's part.
6 fight deal, remember; even if the $16m rumor is true, Mayweather-Alvarez was such a financially successful fight that the deal is probably still good for Showtime/CBS. If 6m PPV buys is the "breakeven", as suggested on this site, Mayweather is already at 4.8m-5m PPV buys, with two more fights to go. lol.

Floyd Mayweather Jr calls his own shot; regardless of how you feel about the man, acknowledge reality.

Let's overlook the fact that Arum is on record he agreed to the 60/40 split, the May 2nd date (Even though he wanted the date for the Canelo-Cotto fight), the MGM Grand venue (despite his beef with them), the drug testing protocol, the gloves, etc. What's it gonna take Floyd?

And good to know who to blame for the Cotto fight that's been negotiated for the past few weeks/months. Floyd's the boss, he made the call to duck Manny and fight his leftovers for a second time. #Bawse
Why would Mayweather so quickly offer a 60/40 split of the take when Pacquiao's last PPV did maybe 300k PPV buys and Pacquiao's PPV business has collapsed since Marquez laid him out on his face? If Mayweather was the coward that folks on here harp about him being, why would he so quickly offer Pacquiao to fight in whatever gloves he wants?

Your bias/agenda is beyond clear, but c'mon man.

          so much bull ****

"Floyd Mayweather Jr calls his own shot; regardless of how you feel about the man, acknowledge reality."

^ that might be true, but it's irrelevant when looking at the grand scheme of things.

I mean we as fans are supposed to believe that because Pacquiao-Algieri only sold 300,000 PPV buys, that means Mayweather will somehow avoid fighting Pacquiao

lets not read into it too much Pacquiao fought an over matched opponent with little to no realistic chance at victory in a foreign country

aside from boxing, in what other sport could the opponent state, "Oh that team didn't get enough viewers in their previous game, I don't want to play them"

the Mayweather-Pacquiao fiasco is becoming a full blown circus, and if Mayweather winds up rematching Cotto, Pacquiao will probably be stuck with Vargas

Last time Pacman rejected his brand of testing, TBE didn't budge. Now when Pacman agrees to everything, he says, "He agreed? You have no say?"

            What a disgusting human being.

Nobody is "ducking" anybody. There are legitimate business issues to resolve. Doesn't mean that either side is trying to avoid the fight.

Bob Arum is the root of all evil! He's the one killing this fight! He should just step aside so Floyd won't have anymore excuse. Manny should not have re-signed with Arum. Manny is a super nice guy but very dumb. Top Rank got him into trouble with the IRS. Pls don't vote for Manny as a Senator or President. Please Filipinos, be smart.
