i loved the fight and wilder proved a lot but wilder still has a few flaws.......if he develops a body attack i wouldn't pick any heavyweight to beat him.

Kinda daft for anyone to say Wilder wasn't sitting down on his punches. Geez, if that wasn't putting everything behind it I don't have a clue what is. Not every shot obviously, but at least a fourth of them were full blast full power.

I was for Stiverne but will admit the better guy won tonight. Questions were answered, power and stamina were on display, and surprisingly he can take a shot. Wouldn't get too gleeful though, Wlad waxes the floor with him. Too much experience and power for the guy. But it will be interesting for a few rounds.

Wouldn't mind seeing him with Povetkin too. Just so Pov stays aggressively active throughout, I believe he UDs Wilder. Stiverne didn't really provide the ultimate test because of his inactivity, almost no jabs, and not cutting off the ring. Safe bet Pov and Wlad do all 3 on him and well.

Congratulations to Wilder for a great performance. I'm looking forward to seeing him develop from here. I never doubted his athleticism and power but tonight he showed a lot of skill, smarts and poise that none of his previous fights had given him the opportunity to demonstrate.

Wilder has more charisma in his pinky finger than Klitschko, so I think he could do a lot for the division and the sport if he continues to realize his potential.
So are you saying that he should duck Klitschko and continue his "development" for the greater good of Boxing?

People actually think this was a "great" fight?

                2. Yeah, Maidana kind of got screwed by Bayless in that fight.

Wlad literally has no defense up close except holding. What he does is supposed to be against the rules. He gets away with it because no ref is calling him out on his bull****, and he knows it. He hold completely excessively, and no one besides Miguel Vazquez can even compare. Not Hopkins, not Ward, no one holds like Wlad does.

You're trying to call out hypocrisy and completely missing why Wlad gets hated. Wilder didn't clinch. He stayed inside and fought at times. Wlad literally runs across the ring and lunges into clinches to avoid a punch being thrown.
                Of course you are exaggerating.

Honestly almost every damn thing was open to the body with that guard so high, but especially the jab. And you're right from what I remember he literally threw it one time. If he fights a better opponent I'd like to see that attention paid to the body.
