Wilder is a legitimate heavyweight contender.

wilder could've gotten him out of there but was cautious of that counter hook. he didn't sit on any of shots really.

Wow so floyd cheated maidana on his last fight by holding and running for mostly half of the fight?

I don't see anybody beating him who isn't Wladimir. He gained a ton of experience in this fight alone and will be knocking fools out.

This is boxing at its best. What's better than a promising young fighter proving himself and doing it in an unexpected way?

Congratulations to Wilder for a great performance. I'm looking forward to seeing him develop from here. I never doubted his athleticism and power but tonight he showed a lot of skill, smarts and poise that none of his previous fights had given him the opportunity to demonstrate.

Wilder has more charisma in his pinky finger than Klitschko, so I think he could do a lot for the division and the sport if he continues to realize his potential.

                      1. As much as Floyd held in that fight, it still didn't compare to Wlad.

                      2. Yeah, Maidana kind of got screwed by Bayless in that fight.

Wlad literally has no defense up close except holding. What he does is supposed to be against the rules. He gets away with it because no ref is calling him out on his bull****, and he knows it. He hold completely excessively, and no one besides Miguel Vazquez can even compare. Not Hopkins, not Ward, no one holds like Wlad does.

You're trying to call out hypocrisy and completely missing why Wlad gets hated. Wilder didn't clinch. He stayed inside and fought at times. Wlad literally runs across the ring and lunges into clinches to avoid a punch being thrown.
