Oscar don't even know what's going on or why Cotto left the table. You Floyd haters are just praying the fight doesn't happen so you can say he was/is scared. Totally pathetic.
Anyone with half a brain would be able to see that if mayweather backs out and fights cotto then he had no intention of fighting pacquiao in the first place and that was the plan all along. Why else would cotto turn down a career high payday and the biggest fight in which he is A side by far. Also its a totally winnable fight unlike mayweather. Not to mention Floyd has been totally quiet since his bogus calling out of pacquiao on ShowTime. Pacquiao arum kontz moretti and hershman have all confirmed that the only price to the puzzle left is fliyds signature on a contract for this to be a done deal yet he still hasn't said anything. If his intentions are truly to fight pacquiao he could come out and say it because if he backs out now it would surely look like he never intended to fight him since he doesn't seem as enthusiastic about it as pacquiao and his team

Haha floyd fabs are so ******ed. Of course its not happening now. Since canelo-cotto is what made floyd actually talk about fighting pac to keep the may date. But since that fight fell through then may has no reason to fight pac now. Its gonna be floyd-cotto now

But See from Cotto perspective, if Floyd wants to use him to duck Pac, then he takes it. Maybe even likes his chances.
That fight wouldn't even crack 800k ppv's and cotto would make much less than he would have against canelo. yea canelo would always be there but Oscar said next time it will be on canelos terms. Cotto let his ego get in the way of what he should have done for legacy as well as business and his fans too

Why does Floyd have to say anything? Fights are not made in the media, he isn't running a public relations campaign. Why does he give 2 cents what people are saying, it is not going to get the fight done any faster.

That's what I've been saying all along, but who knows if ShowTime will go for it, that fight wont sell 800k ppvs because all the fans will boycott and plus we already saw that fight. Moonves might just get pissed off and kick haymon off ShowTime like HBO did.

If I wanted my fighter to fight on May 2nd, I would hope the fight falls apart as well lol

All we can do is wait and see how this plays out, people are reporting the hold up is with the networks but of course on this forum people are just making up their own BULL****

Lol really hes not running public relations campaign? If he cared even a little bit a out his legacy or his fans or his public perception he would at least say something about wanting the fight. He could care less about the fans and hes said that before as a reason he wouldn't fight pacquiao. He has a guaranteed 32 million from ShowTime and he said a couple weeks before pacquiaos algieri fight that he would rather fight two bums instead. Hes killing his own legacy and its obvious he cares less what the fans think or about his legacy. He wont even care that nobody will buy his fights anymore. Its sad hes going to go from top draw to irrelevancy because this time everything is in the open there are no excuses and nobody to point fingers at. Manny has agreed to the terms alls Floyd needs to do is say yes and its on and theres no excuse in the world other than hes scared to lose not to say yes
