I hope your right man, this may be the only time I ever say that to you so savor it lol but it also looks a little su****ious cotto turned down such a big payday and that Floyd hasn't signed off on his end. But I think your probably right because Floyd and ShowTime have to know there will be a huge backlash if the fight doesn't get done this time.

Wouldn't that be funny if canelo never intended to fight cotto, but used that as pressure for Floyd to get the deal dine with Manny so he could keep the may date. Its highly unlikely but either way we have canelo and Oscar to thank for putting even more pressure on Floyd, because now its basically too late for him to duck out the back door without huge uproar from the fans. Manny has already agreed to the terms, mayweather is boxed into a corner, I just wish he would come out and say hes signed off on his part and its on for sure may 2nd

It had nothing to do with the date, cottonpriced himself out. The article earlier explained that. Cottos advisor said cotto wasn't getting enough money and the issue wasn't about the dates at all. But canelo already agreed to less than 50/50 so obviously cotto didn't want the fight

I still have my doubts too.

This fight hasn't been made in 5 years. When it was at it's peak the fight wasn't made, what makes us think the fight will be made now? If anything I could still see Mayweather saying F**** it I'll take a vacation.
