Props to you sir. It was both their fault for the fight not happening.

      Cotto-Trout was pay-per-view in Puerto Rico you ****** ****

Cotto probably will rue the day he picked Trout to fight. He made at least $1 million -- the figure on his New York contract, which didn't take into account other revenue, such as profits from the pay-per-view in Puerto Rico -- but turned down an offer to face Manny Pacquiao in a rematch for millions more.

Austin Trout tamed Miguel Cotto in front of his throngs of fans at New York's Madison Square Garden on Saturday, defending his junior middleweight belt in a unanimous decision.
Cotto turned down a rematch with Pacquiao to take on Trout because Pacquiao wouldn't agree to fight at 154 pounds. That decision is a risky one for several reasons, not least of which is because even with pay-per-view revenues from Puerto Rico, Cotto will be lucky to take home a quarter of what he would have against Pacquiao.

      Typical flomo.

I think it was PPV in Puerto Rico, which is what he meant.

This I can agree with. Cotto being too much of a Diva and Canelo being a spoiled little brat.

Other big fights out there for Cotto that are less dangerous than Canelo. Cotto probably factored in the danger part in his snub.

Yea, but Cotto was wasting time to find out if he had a shot at Floyd.

Canelo figured as much, and since most of the issues had been resolved, he put up a deadline. Canelo didn't want to play second fiddle and didn't want that uncertainty for so long.

Yes, Cotto over played his hand badly and lost. It's his own fault. He will never get that good of a deal again from Alvarez.
