More like Cotto screwed himself. He has no legitimate fighters to go up against that will give him a big check and people are excited about. I dont know why people keep bringing up may 2. Oscar already said he'll move canelo off the date if may/pac happens.

They keep bringing it up because it is the only case you could make for Canelo being in the wrong when it comes to the negotiations. Canelo has wanted Cotto for years, since before Cotto's fight with Trout to be exact, everybody who is not in denial knows Cotto was responsible for the negotiations falling apart, not Canelo. Hopefully both Cotto and Canelo win their next fights, because I would still like to see it happen in the fall.

It doesn't benefit me financially if he fought Canelo, Mayweather and Pacquiao all in one night.

How do people still think it's Cotto fault when Canelo left negotiations? I still don't know how ****** some of you people are being incapable of understanding that. If it's not dumb it's blind a$$ nuthugging. Cotto and Canelo COULD still be happening even if May/Pac gets made if Canelo just sat down and waited for Manny and Floyd to make it happen or not. That's all Cotto has been doing, just waiting, what's the rush?

Also, why are Canelo fans excited or happy exactly? Cotto can fight GGG, Bradley or Lee and it's still a better opponent than Kirkland FFS. Canelo fans are happy because Canelo is once again fighting a punching bag at 154. Cotto might fight injured guys but at least he fights guys with skill and talent, not a heavy bag with arms and legs.
