Let's test your theory. How successful has Canelo's PPV been on his own? I agree that Canelo helped the overall numbers, but on his own, has he been a legitimate PPV star? No! Canelo could have taken less money, beat Cotto & enhanced his stock. He chose otherwise.

Has Mayweather being as successful as when he had Canelo in his under-cards? that's the real question. Canelo sold more with a bum going by the name of Angulo than Cotto did with Martinez the lineal champ, Cotto an "establish" PPV attraction sold less than Canelo in his first PPV with a C level fighter, that tells you that in terms of PPV #s Canelo has the upper-hand.

When was 3 other times? Ducking Canelo for the MW champion of the world is stepping up not avoiding. How many MW's has Canelo fought even though hes' been at MW for 3 fights. Hell except for Floyd the only JMW he's fought have all been at MW for that matter. His entire time at 154 he fought WW and JWW's. At least Cotto fights guys in their division not always one above it.

Cotto had the better hand at negotiations nothing more, he was able to make Canelo go to June in NY AND for less money but Canelo wouldn't even move off the date. They want to hurt Mayweathers pocket more than he wants to have a great win for his legacy and a title at MW.



This says it all right here. Please tell me what changed in Canelo's demands from the outset? From the start of talks they said Vegas, 50/50, May 2nd and that's all there is to it. Canelo hasn't budged on anything except for the money and we don't know how little or how much. Floyd could also very well be negotiating with Cotto and Floyd is simply saying we'll match what they offer you. If Cotto makes the same money against Canelo and Floyd there's only one fight he's taking and that's Floyd. You can't even begin to compare Canelo to Floyds legacy.

So when Canelo call him out before and after the Trout fight does not count (i understand the one time when he called him out before the Mayweather fight) ......but aahhh OK I see you're in denial.

Not sure why you're bringing up mexicans and wraps or whatever(i guess you thought i was mexican lol). We're talking about COTTO NOT WILLING TO FIGHT CANELO. STOP TRYING TO CHANGE THE SUBJECT.

I truly don't understand you guys. It's like okay, Cotto feels he doesn't need Canelo for his legacy or whatever. But did he need Delvin Rodriguez? Does he need Bradley? Of course not. Why won't you guys admit he hasn't been willing to get in the ring with Canelo? Nothing you guys say holds any weight AT ALL unless you man up to that.
