Even dropping 40% I could still find more places that show UFC here, than show boxing.
As more a boxing fan than a UFC fan, I would love for it to be the other way around. For example tonight there is a pretty good HW fight. I couldn't tell you any bar in my area that is going to show the fight.

You can't really measure the popularity of a sport based on a bar crowd, but I see what your saying.

Yeah it would be nice for boxing to get more exposure for sure.

I actually like it, he has a huge roster and those who don't join the league will be left with very limited options that will hurt their career. As long as he makes competitive fights, this is the best thing to happen to boxing.

Well it really doesn't matter what "WE WANT" it is what the fighters want and fighters WILL FOLLOW THE MONEY! PERIOD! Fans get all in their feelings and want it to be about them SO BAD but in actuality, it has nothing to do with them. Casual Fans, the people who actually spend money on PPV and Buy Tickets instead of spending most of their time b1tching on the internet, they don't care about all this extra stuff that people on this forum care about. They will tune if the product is good and the best is fighting the best.

So those on the outside looking in...TOO BAD! When they become a Free Agent either they Join or they stay on the outside looking in struggling to find a quality opponent and a good Payday! However I don't think it is going to be like that, I think Haymon will keep things open as far as matching up his fighters against fighters on the outside!

So how is the best going to fight the best, when the al haymon clan will only fight inhouse?

Im not sure what kind of a man Al Haymon is but with the right guy at the helm an idea like this is great, Boxing is a joke all u have to do is look at the long drawn out Mayweather and Pacquaio farce to see that! The UFC is run so much better, in fact everything about it is better than boxing EXCEPT what matters most the end product - the fight! (i am a MMA fan doe)

Well ive always felt Bob was the main issue with Manny and May not getting it on (which they seem to finally be about to do!)
I dunno about that man, im a fringe fan when it comes to MMA but they seem to take on all comers and there isnt half as much emphasis put on an "0"

Not at all. If you read and understood me correctly you would can see that all I said was that the sanctioning bodies will have to unify which is something everyone has wanted in all history, one recognized world champion, which is better than having a wannabe champion which only fights in house fighters. If you followed my comments you would see that I'm all for fighters getting paid. After all they risk their lives every time they get in the ring.


Their rosters are wearing thin and will continue to do so.

I don't think so because unlike Haymon, ROCNATION is showing interest in fighters of other countries which will keep genuine boxing alive. Plus ROCNATION is also paying their fighters top dollar to face legit fighters, not fixed fights but I guess your just another casual who is happy watching a parody of boxing and not the real thing.

wow, thats 90% of the creme de la creme. i dont see how it can possibly be "the best fighting the best" if these guys arent involved.
