Neither side can agree to anything until everything is ironed out. If the networks can't come to a agreement the fight can't be made. Rafael said everything was done but they are just waiting on Floyd that's not his story anymore.

It hasn't changed. Some of you guys are missing the boat. What pac signed WAS NOT a contract, but he signed his name saying he will honor the terms which floyd's reps put in front of him. What Arum and TR wanted was floyd to also sign and say he will honor the negotiations. Not a contact, but that he will honor the 60/40 split, gloves, mgm, may 2nd, and etc... Everything they have agreed on over the past few months, SO when HBO and showtime come to their agreement, everyone knows floyd is already on board. Floyd apparently wants to wait for the networks to agree to a deal(fine), but that doesn't change the fact that he still hasn't signed off on the terms negotiated. Which gives me a little trepidation, because he could still walk after HBO and SHO comes to a deal. I still believe the fight will get done though.

Sign what? They wouldn't be at this point if Floyd wasn't in agreement. HBO/Showtime aren't trying to figure this out if they thought he isn't all in he's a more important variable than Manny who has no say. Bob is neg the best deal in the interest of Top Rank not Manny. Put it like this they both can sign your fake made up agreement but if the networks don't hash there issues out no fight.

See. This is the thing that worries me. At Least on Pac side (Not Arum/Hbo). They agreed to what Floyd wants.

I agree with your point of the fight doesn't matter if the networks don't come to an agreement. Definitely. However, its absurd to even consider the fact that the networks wont come to an agreement. I will also admit i'm not laywer so i'm not sure what kind of binding deal signing the terms would be.... However, I think that it would prevent floyd from changing demands when the SHO and HBO deal is done... not 100% sure about that.

                      This is disappointing.

I mean how can you expect me to believe Espinoza isn't an incompetent *ss. Let Moonves handle the linguistics of breaking to everybody that Floyd will never agree to his own terms for this fight because he is a ****ing coward! It just...really.. grinds my gears.

                      Do you like Floyd Mayweather?
His early work was a little too 'new-wave' for my taste, but when Corrales and him fought in back '03, I think he really came into his own - both commercially and artistically. The whole fight had a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the entertainment a big boost.
