      For HBO/Show to make Floyd-Manny deal is VERY complicated. They did on Lewis-Tyson. My 2002 USAT story on that deal:*usatoday30.usatoday.com/sports/boxing/***8230;

        Arum said manny agreed and they're waiting for Floydto sign. Watson said fight is close and it's gonna be a joint ppv. Hbo and sho are still working on things so this clearly isn't being delayed cause of Floyd. Manny agreed and doesn't even have all the details lol he doesn't care what if he gets screwed or not

          Why do you even care if Pac gets screwed or not?

            I'm checking back in on Feb 2...not going to go through the same BS...

            Latest news I'm hearing from various sources is that Floyd is going to price himself out of the fight plus HBO is really trying to make this a 50/50 event and Showtime feels it should have more control over the fight because Floyd is the bigger draw...Showtime is not opposed to Floyd-Cotto 2 because it wouldn't have to work with HBO and it would force HBO to showcase Canelo on regular HBO against a Clottey-type

            Pacquiao is not facing Khan...

            Top Rank doesn't want to throw Crawford in with Pacquiao...

            Pacquiao-Provo/Jessie Vargas would be the fight probably Vargas in May and Provo in fall because Provo has to fight at Barclays next and the taxes would kill Manny...

              I don't that's his problem. I'm just saying people are trying to blame Floyd when people have confirmed sho and HBO aren't even done yet

                They have to figure out 24/7 All-Access announcers. Replay rights etc this is a different ballgame than Lewis-Tyson.

                  And dan wrote this earlier

                  The deal was that whichever network's fighter won, that network would get the delay rights. Lewis won and HBO showed the replay, and the fight was forever branded an HBO fight. The Showtime replay that was produced never aired.*

                  So the deal can be done. It's just not easy.*

                  Right off the bat, I'm told that HBO is reluctant to handle the delay the same way as in the 2002 deal, preferring instead to have any delay air simultaneously on both networks. Perhaps HBO was OK with the 2002 arrangement because Lewis was such a huge favorite over Tyson and it was worth the risk. In a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, Mayweather will be the favorite.*

                    Network views has nothing to do with this dumbass. How about you say Showtime outperformed them in PPV sales.

                      Same ballpark as lewis-tyson
                      As far as 24/7 goes if 4 shows let HBO show 2 and Shotime 2
                      replay rights goes too winner of bout
