I just read in El Nuevo Dia the Puerto Rican newspaper that he has instructed Golden Boy to look for a new opponent for him, for the May date. They quote Arum who said he just got a call from Oscar telling him this. Apparently Canelo is tired of waiting on Cotto.

In reality that's what Cotto is doing to Canelo. By not signing anything he can swoop in and be ready to fight Floyd when the negotiations with Manny come to a halt. Nothing wrong with having a plan b when the inevitable happens.

I told many guys here, Cotto is going to give Canelo and Oscar and everyone here a rude awakening come negotiation time. That Cotto is no joke at the table. It's absolute comedy the way things have played out.

Thing is Cotto doesnt lose because he has a plan C and a Plan D. He can fight Bradley on June 7 or he can fight Andy Lee. In both of those fights he ****s both on the negotiations and make a minimum of 7-8 million without counting PPV.
