What Haymon is doing might be good or not so good for the fans, but Espinoza definitely got screwed and there can't be two opinions about that. Adonis Stevenson was boasting that he makes more money than Kovalev while fighting nobodies. That money had to come from somewhere. It can't be considered investment now. Why would Al Haymon put good fights on Showtime if he can reap the rewards himself in advertising money? Showtime seemed to be playing Haymon's game with no prize in sight.
On a side note, maybe Haymon having his own boxing channel is not such a bad idea. He did an excellent job milking Showtime for inferior fights. If he has his own channel then he might actually put on good fights as he can't rip off himself. Maybe even invite fighters he didn't sign - after all, he gets his cut through advertising so he doesn't have to "advise" every fighter his channel features.

Showtime is getting raw dawg and once the paying public sees what's going on, the SUB numbers will go down and then its everybody for themselves and Espinoza will have another job at Haymon boxing.
These dudes are ruthless.
