I don't necessarily agree that they are going to be the key to taking boxing to the lext level. Howevr, when you have a bunch of quality opponents who are at the top of the game and are part of the same stable, putting fights together between those two fighters is good for the fans. Haymond has the potential to offer fans a lof of good fights in the 19 shows that he is going to be presenting on network television.

Another benefit it will have is it will force Showtime, HBO and promoter like Bob Arum to step up their game and provide fans with better quality fights.Who would watch Pacquaio/Vargas on PPV for $70 when you can watch Matthysse/Broner and Guerro/Amir Khan the next week for free. NO one will watch mismatches on HBO and Showtime if they have the option of watching quality fights in NBC.

Haymon has a stable of protected, carefully matched cherry pickers, all trying to cherry pick their way to the coveted Floyd Cherry Picker status. A few of those hype trains got derailed already aka Broner, Russell Jr.. Wilder is next, and Quillens hype train ride is gonna end abruptly too.

Can you idiots stop writing that Haymon is doing it on basic cable? Basic cable is ESPN or Fox Sports. This is NBC, it's a NETWORK not basic cable. You can get the channel with a digital antenna unlike basic cable channels. It's FREE TV.

Really not the same, Arum in house fights prevented Top Welterweights from fighting each other...Haymon "In House Fights" because he has basically signed all of the damn Top Fighters at 140 and 147 he can keep things In House and still give the fans the matches they want to see

Arum don't have Haymon's roster to keep things IN HOUSE and put on Quality match ups.

These are good fights period, in house or not, they're action fights. Not sure why anyone is complaining, it's not rios Alvarado 3 which is redundant.
