again, i had it 6-6, but even if i scored it 7-5 for garcia, there's one thing that needs to be permanently attached to the scores of this fight

garcia never won any round convincingly, peterson won about 4 or 5 of them convincingly

in the end, peterson threw this fight away early rather than garcia "winning" it

You don't win rounds with shuffles. Peterson should have gone to work on Garcia much earlier. I blame Hunter, the strategy was ******ed.

On a side note, how many low blows does Danny have to throw before a ref will take a point away? Ridiculous again tonight.

So say in a couple weeks a boxer moves around a lot in the beginning of a fight, while the other guy lands a hard punch now and then and complains that the other guy won't fight.
Then the guy boxing starts walking down and busting the guy up in the second half of the fight.
The guy that was putting the ineffective aggression on the other guy should win the fight because the other guy was running and didn't do enough...right?

Haymon is bad for boxing, not only the fraud scorecards but the ref pulling Peterson up for nothing and splitting the action when Garcia took big shots.

People cant possible think Peterson won those early rounds surely ?

He moved around alot jabbing at air, Garcia missed alot and didnt land alot but he outlanded Peterson in almost all of those rounds. They were easy rounds to score

Garcia narrow round wins counts just the same as Peterson's super strong rounds down the stretch.

That is why I am still for adding in half points, because you can differentiate between that stuff.

Garcia is a straight up left hook artist, if he can't apply his hook he has major issues (like any off hand hook artist) especially with movement away from him given the short range nature of the hook. If he can counter with it he is a much better boxer but if he has to make something happen to a guy boxing him there are problems.

Peterson is in fear, he dare not criticise a Haymon decison
