Just finished watching. Not a great fight but


Read a couple pages typical responses, Lames crying how Garcia got a "gift". It's like Garcia can't be in close fights


Closer then I thought but Garcia clearly won. Lamont did nothing of value the first half of the fight but turned it on late ( If Lara does its track and field when Lamont did it worse its great boxing and ring generalship)

I've said it once and I'll say it again....if your name is not Floyd Mayweather Jr or Manny Pacquiao then you have to KO or beat the dog ish outta Nelo and Swift...I said this a while ago...NOONE will get a close decision against those two...trust me!!

Lamont didn't deserve the decision anyway imo

I thnk for all the people who say lamont threw away the fight early, you knew as you were watvhing the fight that danny had and illustrated no advantages. His punches were not effective, his missee at an astronomical clip, he came off as frustrated didn't execute his game plan and couldn't get out Bn of the way of the jab let alone other punches. Danny showed no elite skillset early except the skill of really wanting to punch lp.

If you land 3 clean punches in a rund and i land 2 but i dominate the tempo and distance, meaning I impose my will on u by making u fight my style of fight (assuming we dont fight similar styles) then clean punching is not the.ultimate standard for scoring. No judge will ever say they score 1 criteria over the.other even tho.fans judge how.they wish. Each factor plays a role in this fight the role was won by deep pockets and marketing agendas

If Floyd fought like Peterson noone gave him a win on scorecards and gonna say @he run like a litlle b1tch@ and it's right.But Lamont fought against @hate object@ Danny Garcia and that's why people crying @Roberry@.it's just a hating.

Just because i have an opinion doesn't mean I care enough to hate or the rest us for that.matter. Danny looked extremely underwhelming and the lesser of the two.fighters in the ring last.night and no amount of rican pride can.change that fact. He didn't appoint himself well at all despite the scorecards.

I can tell you Peterson was the better man, I can tell you Peterson did more damage, I can tell you Peterson won his rounds a lot bigger than Garcia's rounds.


I can't tell you he won the fight though, which makes me sad because while in some ways it was a great performance by him (I didn't think he had the discipline to frustrate Garcia like that), but it still comes down to a totally wasted effort. To me if the better man loses like that, that is probably the worst type of loss.
