If it comes out that Arum is lying, I'll be the first to admit I was wrong, but here are what we have at the moment

They concede May 2nd to Mayweather
They concede 60/40 in favour of Mayweather
They concede USADA instead of VADA to Mayweather
    They concede Vegas to Mayweather

So, Top Rank et all give in to all the demands that Mayweather makes, get a contract signed from Manny delivered to Mayweather, and now Mayweather won't sign.

    Arum is lying though.

How the hell doesn't that infuriate you guys, I'll never know.
What I want to know is why do these floyd homers think Arum doesn't want the fight? Why wouldn't he want it. Do they think he's scared of Pac losing or getting knocked out? LOL its already happened a few times over. Of course Arum wants the money. They are so deluded.

Let's just go with Arum is negotiating with Les Mooves the head of CBS.
      - would you believe Floyd Mayweather was negotiating the Manny fight with Ted Turner
      - Why would the head of CBS only be talking to Arum to make the fight he would be talking to his counterpart of Ted Turner since it would have to be a Co-PPV
-If Mooves is threatening to get rid Floyd/Haymon/Esponiza if the Manny fight doesn't happen why are saying the Cotto rematch will happen.
-since when does a head of a major company negotiate a boxing match he does negotiate Bama vs Auburn now he's a boxing promoter

Yeah, none of the major reporters at ESPN, Yahoo, etc have inside sources. None of them. Nope. None of those non-existent inside sources decided to speak on the condition of anonymity to their preferred major reporters either.

What's beyond me is the part where you decide to overlook this stuff for some weird reason. Then, I'm the idiot because I can put A and B together, for being able to actually deduce something.

Floyd don't want it. Slow ass C level fighter Maidana was able to get to Floyd, what do you think Pac would do to him?
If Arum was lying Floyd, Moonves, or Ellerbe would have let the media know by now.

Team Mayweather consists of Floyd and Al Haymon. If Arum isn't talking to Al Haymon then the fight is not happening.

Can someone post a link to where Arum said Manny SIGNED a contract?

Points agreed to and signing a contrct are two extremely different things.

For the record I have read the yahoo sports article.

Um, Moonves is talking to their side, as a mediator. Because that sometimes happens to able to have a constructive conversation when there's animosity between two sides.

I would just say the CEO of a media company could be in the business of securing a big event for his properties. Having to cut in HBO hurts but Moonves would also get a ton of credit.

Plus it is a tough deal to work, if he wants that event he has to put in the work and pay the piper.
