Floyd is no different than any other Haymon client. He does what he's told. If Haymon doesn't want any of his others guys dealing with Top Rank, why would he want Floyd? If Floyd lost to Pacquiao that would really damage Haymon's quest for boxing domination.

Gettimg ready to walk show but woke up to this. I hope it isnt true but if it is then oh well. For months Oscar, canelo, and arum have been on anti-floyd tour and in the end the man at the top crapped all over them and showed who the true boss is. For that ill laugh. And in the end i dont mind Floyd v cottonot as good but dont mind it. Not my legacyComment

Putting a AP article on there site that every sports site has running on there website has nothing to do with there views ESPN,CNNSI,Foxsports etc have that exact same article on there site. No one from Showtime/CBS has said a damn word publically so stop making it up. Top Rank has put out all the information. If this true and the fight doesn't happen it would be Floyds fault.
Listen, at this point I'm pretty disappointed that it seems that the closest we've been to getting this fight seems to be at another impasse, but please let's stop pretending like it's Arum lying this time.Comment

Someone needs to ask Arum hard questions.
1. Who are these "people we talked to on Mayweather's side"?
2. Is Al Haymon involved?
3. When was the last time you received a contract proposal from this side and what happened to it?
We can start from there.Comment

Im sure if he felt Cotto would still be the MW champ after he faced and beat Pac, he would no doubt take Cotto after Pacquiao.
But he probably feels that Cotto will get beat my Canelo, and people really don't wanna see a May Vs Canelo rematch, or he feels that by that time Glovokin could have beaten Canelo or Cotto.
Basically Cotto is the easiest route to a MW title, as far as size of the MW champ and selling possibility of PPV.Comment

If Arum were to be lying why would CBS, the parent company, and incidentally one of the major participants of this event, reprint an article if it were inaccurate? They would have the knowledge to be say, wait, whoa, hold up...

I still think the fight happens. Floyd is just being Floyd and wants to be the one to announce it when he's ready.
And if you look at flights and hotels for May 2nd they already shot up to the ceiling so somebody knows something.Comment
