Rafael is only reporting what Arum has told him he's even admitted that. He's said Floyds team won't respond back to emails or return phone calls so he's going with the info given to him.

if that was the case then arum would have stopped putting pac in with marquez. why would arum keep exposing pac by letting him fight marquez?? dont u know that marquez is a counter puncher and floyd is a way better counter puncher than marquez? so going by the floyd fans logic if marquez put pac to sleep already wouldnt that put the fire out for a potential floyd vs pac fight since floyd is a better counter puncher than marquez? No because Marquez vs. pacquiao isn't the biggest fight in history and the only thing in boxing that casual fans follow right now. Arum doesn't use Marquez to sell Pac's fights, he uses Floyd. And in this case, he is just using Floyd's name to build up interest in Pacquaio vs. Jessie Vargas.

Are you serious it hurts that old man pride. He said Floyd would never make over 10 mill a fight and to see him become the paid athlete in the world is Ether to his soul. It's not just Top Rank saying this stuff. It's Showtime/CBS, HBO, Top Rank. So everyone else BUT Floyd is on board, yet somehow Arum is still lying? The news was even published by CBS ffs, if Arum was lying why would even the parent company of Showtime propagate his lie?
