ESPN analyst Teddy Atlas, who shined up Alexander Povetkin the last two and a half years and helped get the Russian a title shot, in which he won the vacant WBA belt, against Ruslan Chagev, told ESPN New York that he is done training, maybe for good.

read and learn. Povetkin never fought the same once atlas stopped training him.

Hell, even Jason Gavern was too big a step up for Wilder -- Gavern just quit because he was so out of shape. But Wilder was confused by him.

Stiverne is going to slip one of those telegraphed right hands and pop Wilder right on the chin. Then we'll see how tough that American ****wipe is.

I think Charlie Zelenoff KOs Wilder in the rematch.

You're right; he improved. Povetkin regressed massively under Atlas.

He did it as well in both the areola fights. IMHO the only way stiverne wins if he goes "mike tyson style", with lots of head movement and staying on the inside.
If Stiverne has done his homework, he will pressure Wilder from the outset. Wilder cannot take a shot.

Wilder will win by KO if will not gassed out against stationary opponent like Stiverne. If Stiverne can take the best punches of Wilder then gives his own then that's a different story.

Stiverne's tendency to lay on the ropes and counter will be his downfall. He might just get KO'd out of the ring if he isn't careful.

While it's true that we've never seen Wilder go past 4 rounds, we've also never seen someone take his punches for more than 4 rounds.

Stiverne's defense is not so good as evidenced by the third round of his last fight against Arreola.

If he wants to win, he better get Wilder out of there early. I doubt his chin would hold up after 6+ rounds of Wilder's punches.
