Matthysse has a bad chin now. I can't ****ing believe how fickle boxing fans are.

Never had gone down, now 3x in last 2 fights. I think skepticism about his punch resistance is warranted. Not saying it is gone, but it is fair to ask questions.

Looking more vulnerable than he used to.

I don't know why people keep talking like Matthysse has suspect punch resistance. Yeah he went down a couple of times against Molina but Molina is a puncher and Matthysse wasn't seriously hurt at any stage, in fact I haven't seen Matthysse seriously hurt before. He's a tough guy, he can definitely go toe to toe with Provodnikov.

Provodinkov doesn't hit any harder than Molina and blocks punches with his face, plus he has stamina issues, I see Matthysse stopping him between 6-10.

I don't understand that either. Molina is a legitimate puncher, even if he was moving up. And to those saying he's got a suspect chin because he went down in the Molina fight, don't you have to actually get hit in the chin to be able to assess that? The KD's were towards the back of the head and above the ear where it's much easier to mess up your equilibrium. And like you mentioned, he got up right away and didn't really seem too hurt or bothered. His chin is fine.

Great fight if it gets made. I can see both guys hitting the canvas, would be a brutal fight. Ruslan might get stopped from damage to his fragile face, Lucas might get stopped from Ruslans sneaky punches.
