He won an Olympic gold medal at 178 lbs and years ago and said 175 was his destiny. He also said repeatedly that he would work his way up from 175 and eventually challenge Klitschko for a heavyweight title.

Now he spends all of his time calling out small middleweights who can make 154. I guess he shrinks over time.

If you say so. The difference is virtually negligible anyway based on the numbers you've posted so you haven't really said *** all with your original point. Kovalev was fighting Bernard Hopkins whilst Golovkin was fighting Rubio. The similar numbers don't really suggest that Kovalev is a bigger star than Golovkin.

Regardless, Ward-Golovkin is still a big fight and one which Ward clearly wants before he moves up. Same way Golovkin won't move up because he's holding out for a Cotto or Canelo.
