Right now his biggest challenges are at 175 in Kovalev and Stevenson. He's already beat anyone in his division worth beating, the rest of the guys you mentioned are fairly green and need some time to establish themselves. No need to prolong a potential clash between Ward and the Champs at 175. Moving up in weight doesn't mean he won't be able to fight guys like DeGale, Ramirez, or Smith later down the road when they become top fighters.

The bold is a weak argument as to why he shouldn't move up. Moving up and beating Kovalev would make him the top dog at 168 and 175 simultaneously. Campaigning at two weight classes only increases his potential opponents and get him out of the "situation" you're referring to.

That is not really a argument because most can't counter with a legit argument for Ward moving up. I and others listed a bunch of guys 168 who are on the rise and could at least TRY to challenge Ward at 168 including guys who are currently at 160 who could move up in the next year or so while your reply is just 2 Fighters: Kovalev and Stevenson...WHAT ELSE IS AT 175? Because after those two fights what is Ward suppose to do RETIRE...Oh Right these same fans will say "OH HE SHOULD MOVE UP AGAIN TO CRUISERWEIGHT AND FIGHT MARCO HUCK AND PABLO HERNADEZ" Right? 175 is literally a 2 Man Division (Kovalev and Stevenson) maybe 3 (Pascal also I guess) but after that it is a serious drop off in talent overall

Let me just get this out of the way first. "**** ANDRE WARD". Im tired of his fanboys riding on what he did back in 2011. He hasn't done ANYTHING since,that warrants a spot in the top 5 p4p. He cleaned out his division after the super six,and he said that he would move up after. But its 2015 and where are we? It's Ward's decision. He's not obligated to move up if he doesn't want to.

With that said he shouldn't cry when smaller fighters aren't willing to move up to fight him.

Ward once said he'd be willing to fight Floyd at 160 but GGG would have to come up to 168 to fight him

GGG has said that he'd be willing to fight Chavez and Froch at 168 but Ward would have to come down to 160 to fight him

As far as I'm concerned, neither guy is "ducking" the other, its hard to duck a fighter that isn't even in your weight class. And both have unfinished business in their own weight classes. As long as both can make the weight and both are fighting top contenders/champions I don't see why they have to be forced to move up. That being said, I would love to see them fight each other...eventually.

Yeah the argument for Ward moving up is to fight Kovalev/Stevenson to try and win a few belts while further cementing his legacy. 168, like you listed is a list of fighters who are still on the rise and an uncertainty at the moment as well as fighter at MW who might move up.

There's no rule stating you can't move back down if you fight at a higher division. Many fighters have moved back down after fighting at a higher division. He could always move up and take a couple of fights against the champs at 175 and move back down meanwhile these up and coming fighters establish themselves and the MW's move up as you stated. It's not so much Ward moving up to LHW as it is Ward taking on a challenge and fighting Kovalev/Stevenson.
