    As BoxingScene.com previously reported, Golden Boy Promotions, and former company CEO Richard Schaefer, have reached a settlement on their legal battle.

    After more than ten years with the company, Schaefer stepped down from his CEO position in June of 2014. A few weeks later, Golden Boy filed a reported $50 million dollar arbitration claim against Schaefer.

    Golden Boy President and company founder Oscar De La Hoya had stated to BoxingScene.com that Schaefer was under an exclusive contract to his company until 2018.
