You don't just inherit the position, do you think that Floyd just became a super star by himself? He had to earn that right by being the B-SIDE against Oscar De La Hoya, only getting a fraction of the purse and defeating him. If that one judge gave Oscar the split decision then Floyd wouldn't be that star that he is today.

There's a ceiling for everything. 'The sky is the limit' is rarely a catch phrase that becomes reality. This guy has proven himself to be much less than he thinks he is. He'll obviously crash and burn earlier than he would if he'd have just taken a more reasonable approach to marketing himself. You always make enemies in the biz when you constantly talk like he talks. He should wise up and realize if he can make 1 to 2 mil per fight he is doing great.
