They can buy ringside tickets, for example, on Santa Cruz's fights. Then climb up in the ring to challenge him in post fight interviews. They can go to his training camp and make scenes.. etc. In other words, stalk him until the promoters themselves realize that fans would really want to see it.

Things like that will help promote the fight and the truth is they're of tremendous help when drawing fans. Even if the fight turns out to be boring. Bottom line is promoting a fight creatively DOES help.

What is enough? $10 million. Sound ridiculous? Asking for too much money is the most common way for a fighter to avoid a fighter he is afraid to fight. Shane Mosley's father asked for $10 million to fight Floyd Mayweather at 135. At the time, Mosley had never made more than $500,000 in a fight in his entire 30-fight career. Santa Cruz's father knows what he is doing.
