Rigondeaux's handlers are chickens when it comes to getting the fight they want. They would just rather moan, nag, whine in their safe little quarters, instead of going out there and do something out of the ordinary. They can buy ringside tickets, for example, on Santa Cruz's fights. Then climb up in the ring to challenge him in post fight interviews. They can go to his training camp and make scenes.. etc. In other words, stalk him until the promoters themselves realize that fans would really want to see it.

Things like that will help promote the fight and the truth is they're of tremendous help when drawing fans. Even if the fight turns out to be boring. Bottom line is promoting a fight creatively DOES help.

What is enough? $10 million. Sound ridiculous? Asking for too much money is the most common way for a fighter to avoid a fighter he is afraid to fight. Shane Mosley's father asked for $10 million to fight Floyd Mayweather at 135. At the time, Mosley had never made more than $500,000 in a fight in his entire 30-fight career. Santa Cruz's father knows what he is doing.

@ the tags to my own thread. It won't change the fact that Leo is hiding behind his father while constantly throwing out the big names just to get a buzz. Stay hurting

He one of them mexican warriors doe. Chavez would smack both their asses, the dad for using the accounting excuse (they should really sync their excuses the dad sings one the son sings another one), and the son too but probably for naming his kid after Al haymon.

Yep, you gotta do it if nobody wants you.
Make them look bad for avoiding you.

Leo Santa Duck Mexican Warrior Do just took a prime seat as ducker of the year

I dont give a **** he is making money fighting bums. I care about watching great boxing because like any other sport what i want is to see competition. It's hilarious some boxing fans have become personal accountants as if their ****ty account grows when LSC fights a bum.

Duck Duck Duck. Right where with Quillin and Stevenson. Fake ass Mexican

please dont compare them. Who did Mares duck? He kept moving up until he ran into a big puncher. And Johnny G is no journeyman.

The Haymon virus is very contagious.
Fans should just regard boxing as just a platform to employ boxers.
They need to stop expecting meaningful fights.
