Canelo fans are the most delusional in boxing man. He's been brought up as soft as possible until he was thrown in there with Floyd. He didn't win a round. He then looks average against Trout, terrible against Lara and he still couldn't actually KO the punching bag, just a stoppage. The last guy Canelo actually KO'd was a JWW who had one fight at 147 and was actually getting beaten pretty badly until Ortiz busted his jaw. That same JWW then had to go up to 154 to face Canelo. The hype Oscar has built is impressive, too bad Canelo didn't grow as a fighter with it.

Cotto re-made himself with the destruction of Sergio Martinez. The fight with Nelo is now highly anticipated as it would put PR's most popular fighter coming off a huge win against Mexico's most popular fighter trying for the MW championship.

A loss for either could derail the fight, or at least not make it as big. Like I said Nelo was offering Cotto 10 million in March, with the middle weight belt on the line, I'm sure the offer is a few million north of that plus ppv revenue. .

I really doubt he'd get that from a Mayweather fight, considering Showtime has to pay Mayweather's 32 million guarantee.

Well they lost money on the maidana fight and he was only paid 1.5m. Can't see them signing off 10m for floyd to do a live workout again.

didnt they offer Cotto 10 million BEFORE he fought Martinez?? Get your facts straight. Cotto took less than that to make the Martinez fight. so if they want to fight now they should give Miguel way more than 10
