I thnk this guy is full of it, but it would be good if the UAE wanted to put on a boxing showcase once a year.

Floyd v Pac is not doable put they good get plenty of other good fights done where the money from non ppv fights jutys isnt there to get the fights done.

They did it with horse racing just started up a day of racing and made it the richest in the world. Even a 3rd of that $120mil could make an awesome card.

The Arab mentality is different in terms of they believe that anything can be bought, especially sporting events (like the Fifa World Cup, F1 Grand Prix).

The main problem is usually the fact that despite the huge sums of money on the table the events just do not have the same impact or generate the same level of excitement.

Most major sports events flourish and prosper at venues / countries where the biggest support and/or history for that given sport / competitor lies.

I have been numerous times to the UAE for business, it is an interesting location and impressive BUT it has no actual identity or soul.

Regardless, IF the Floyd / Manny fight ever actually happens - The MGM is the only serious venue. Floyd would never fight outside the US, I just don't think he would take that type of risk even for $120 Million.

120 million on top of PPV revenue? Or do they get the PPV revenue?

I don't get it. What is their reward? That's like Floyd offering Manny 40 million before the fight even took place.

I don't think any other prize fighter in the history of the sport would be cowardly enough to turn down 120 million dollars to fight anybody ... no doubt the fl*mos will spin it to make their wet dream into a hero

No wonder why The Money team did not entertain this group. Who deals with such unprofessional people? Did they think they could buy Mayweather?

They would be the promoters and would get all the revenue from the fight i assume.

They would make a loss on it if those numbers are true but they are more about just having it in there country and showing how rich they are by having all the biggest events.

Why don't they spend a third of that money on GGG-Canelo.
