They share one common opponent, Bernard Hopkins. Pascal went to a controversial twelve round draw with Hopkins in 2012 and lost a close unanimous decision to the veteran in their 2011 rematch. Kovalev dominated Hopkins over twelve rounds in their unification last November in Atlantic City.

I think Pascal will start fast and land some good stunning punches early. But Kovalev will wear him down, beat him up, and stop him within eight rounds.

Pascal is tough as nails, floored Hopkins twice, fought Froch, beat Bute, Diacanu, Dawson. He could be difficult for Kovalev if he can avoid or take Kovalev's punches. Pascal has a sneaky style and even though he is not the favorite, he could make things interesting.

I like the confidence from Pascal. This is what we need in boxing, guys who want to fight the best there is. Kovalev still beats him in my opinion but still a great fight looming.

Pascal has opened up as a 5-1 underdog.

Anyone think it's worth putting some money on him?

Yes I'm from Montreal and I'll be there to support Pascal ... but I have big doubts. I think Kovalev will beat both Pascal and Stevenson.

With a KO win for Kov as a back up bet (if it makes sense)

I'm a big Jean Pascal fan, but there is no way in hell that he's even going to win a single round against Kovalev or even survive till the final bell. This is the worst possible match up for him.

What do you know, Stevenson is the lineal Champ of the division, Stevenson is under Showtime. If Stevenson is not the Boss in Canada, who is?
                    Bute, Pascal, Who?
Is Pascal's under any networks, is Jean Pascal carry any belts.
Look, Adonis Stevenson is not only the boss in town, he is the king of the division. Just wait when Stevenson will demolish Kovalev on September 26, 2015.

Dawson: Pascal won with an intentional head butt.
Bute: Bute got his cerebellum destroyed by Froch illegal back in the head punchs. So it was easy for Pascal to punch a live punching bag.
                    Froch: Pascal lost.
                    Hopkins: Pascal lost.
Kovalev: Pascal will lose by complaining about a sudden shoulder injury, before Kovalev gets the chance to finish him on live TV.

Jean Pascal has a big mouth, only a liar with no stamina.
Jean Pascal lose with every bigger names, or cheat to win. (Dawson)

You base your judgement on what, to believe he could defeat Adonis Stevenson. Please come up with a logical opinion, instead of playing roulette with a fanatic feeling which occurs only because you don't like the lineal king of the division.

Adonis Stevenson will be the Undisputed light heavyweight Champion, by defeading Sergey Kovalev by KO on September 26, 2015.
