Comments Thread For: Pascal: Kovalev is The King, But I'm Going To Beat Him

Canadian star Jean Pascal (29-2-1, 17KOs) is going to have the crowd behind him when he challenges WBO/WBA/IBF light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev (26-0-1, 23KOs) on March 14th at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.

They share one common opponent, Bernard Hopkins. Pascal went to a controversial twelve round draw with Hopkins in 2012 and lost a close unanimous decision to the veteran in their 2011 rematch. Kovalev dominated Hopkins over twelve rounds in their unification last November in Atlantic City.

Pascal has my respect, but Kovalev will beat him when they fight.

Pascal's got no chance. And I mean NO chance, what so ever.

Stevenson even with his Lineal title isn't the Boss in Quebec, that would be Pascal who has consistently brought over Elite names to Canada and helped boxing grow. Dawson, Hopkins twice and now Kovalev. Also his fight with Bute was the biggest in the country's history.

            Yea, ok Pascal.

You know Pascal looks to me like a guy that maybe had some talent, but just seems to have never went as far as I would have thought.

                WRONG.

On paper, Stevenson is the king and Kovalev is the real man based on everything else.

Pascal has pop, so to say he has no chance at all is not true. I agree that the odds are against him though.

I'm glad the fight's happening and I'm not about to write Pascal off but the odds are gonna be significantly against him here.
