Certainly possible, Brook knows how to pick his shots. What could be a factor though is a point that Richie Woodhall made a few days ago that when he's allowed to fight at range and moves in and out Khan is virtually impossible to outbox.

Now I wouldn't quite go as far as Richie but unless Brook is able to time him early in the fight he's going to have to press the issue and up his work rate early on which will leave him vulnerable to running out of gas down the stretch. Alternatively he can concede the early rounds in the hope of catching Khan later in the fight. What makes that difficult is that Khan isn't going to stand in front of him and be broken down by an accumulation of punches. Which is precisely what Brook is good at.

It'll hinge on whether Brook can time him or not, how often he's able to that and whether he has enough power to take him out with single shots.

Khan has a speed advantage while Brook has the skill, technique, size, timing, power and accuracy advantages.
The only rounds Brook will win are the ones Khan gets knocked down in as I don't see why he won't because Brook has power, it's a grudge match, so expect for Khan to get drawn in, otherwise if Khan sticks to the plan it may get as embarrassing as Alexander.

Off topic, but Richie Woodhall is a tremendous analyst.

Where do people get the idea that Khan is some master boxer who can't be outboxed?

He uses his jab well and because of his speed it allows him to win rounds. He is no technician like Hopkins.

That's a good point that I'd overlooked because of how composed he was against Devon. It's going to far more difficult to stay on top of his instinct to brawl in this one.

No doubt Hunter will drill that into him in the buildup should the fight be signed. And there's always the chance that Amir continues to improve before his next bout. One thing that also bodes well for Khan is that he looks genuinely hurt when Hunter berates or criticises him.

I don't think he wants to let the man down and that may curtail his desire to get involved in a tear up. That and the fact that it could end his run as a top level fighter.

                    I disagree.

I fully expect Brook to outbox him, win most of the rounds and then stop him. Brook's timing and jab will control the fight.

I do believe Brook will be looking for the left hook counter whilst ignoring everything else and lose rounds in the process. Well, then again he can't out point Khan as Amir has competed at an elite level, since Noah sailed on his ark. Win/Lose it is still experience. Khan is a strong WW unlike Porter, so he won't be out muscled. This fight is personal, so even though Khan is very composed and calm, may get drawn in a brawl and get caught.

Khan by a UD or Brook by KTFO.
You think Khan is physically stronger than Porter?

Porter had to come down to WW and pre-Brook was regarded by most as the strongest WW around. He and Brook are huge at thhe weight.
