Wtf does this have to do with anything? Who gives a sh it if it sells more. I want to be entertained and MMA just doesn't do it

It's a boring sport if you have no clue what's going on! And you don't know the guys! One wrong move and you could be DEAD! No spongy glove protection! Boxing fans are so used to the running & clinching in boxing, you don't realize how boring that is. I would say MMA is the more exciting sport outside of guys like Pacquiao, Matthysse, Maidana, Broner, Thurman etc.

Settled down guys, there is no +1 million report or even rumor.

Meltzer: UFC 182 had more than 500K searches, which also indicates a good number, but most huge number shows hit 1 million

Meltzer also said website traffic was equivalent of a 750K PPV show

the one caution is Pacquiao-Algieri had 500K searches and reportedly drew between 300-400K PPV buys.

UFC 170 also had 500k searches suggesting 310-450k & ended up 340k. Not sure how accruate it really is though.

The searches were looking for streams! Greater the search, greater the streams, lesser the PPV.

the only good thing about ufc is good fighters actually fight each other. thats a refreshing change if your used to shizit boxing politics and faags like haymon being influential in the boxing world. al haymon is a gay wad. he is gayer than watching men wrestle in ufc

Which means the rest of the 341 days (49 weeks or 11 months) are spent on waiting, waiting, waiting... fantasy fights discussions... What a effing sport.
And what are we supposed to watch in those 11 months (49 weeks) of waiting? Boxing is almost dead if you think about the rarity of fights.

Yeah, Gustaf was his Castillo, but in the rematch he will beat him easy by decision watch.

Jon Jones needs to try boxing, he is still young, he already got the title in the UFC if he goes to boxing he will get Zou Shiming money because of his name, he will get like 500k to 1 million a fight for his debut watch.

Jones needs to jump ship he already cleaned out the division, he can make history in boxing at Cruiserweight 200 pound division. he reminds me of a stick and move boxer give him a 10 cans since he has no amatuer background get his confidence get him to spar top level boxers and than step him up slowy in competition he is 27 so by his 30th birthday he could fight for a title he is a freak man he learns fast, he can have like 5 fights in 1 year and make a good 3 to 5 million.

those ufc guys dont transition to boxing too well. and boxers dont transition to mma either. i wouldn't mind seeing jones getting KO'd in a boxing ring though

I agree that is not a good comparison. This UFC reportedly sold double the amount that Pacquiao's last fight did.

There was some empty seats and the weigh in was held in a ballroom at the casino, it will do 450k tops, UFC ppvs have dropped drastically since Brock Lesnar left, this is why they are bringing CM Punk in that should add another 250k in buys, CM punks debut will do 750k, but jones vs Cormier is not dont believe any of that crap, UFC never releases their ppv numbers they are a private owned company not public so they don't have to release any thing to the public.

The UFC numbers died fast, this why Dana White is using Ronda Rousey to sell as a gimmick and he was even pushing some gay fighters, now he is using CM Punk he knows the interest in UFC has dropped and the FOX ratings are not great and its free tv it shows the interest for UFC was overestimated by him.

plus he put the nail in the coffin when he said Boxing is dying 7 years ago, never do that because Boxing is like Jason he never dies he just keeps coming back. Learn from Kickboxing in the late 70s early 80s the kickboxing was a fad for a year or two and they said it will take over and kill boxing because you can have more action and ko because of the kicks, nobody cared Boxing will always be the number one combat sport.
