Well several countries including Germany (and Italy in particular) have a reputation of blatantly favouring the home fighter.

You have to KO them to get a draw.

Canada, USA and the UK often blatantly favor the home fighter.

Bellew would be more likely to receive fair officiating in Germany than a foreign cruiserweight would in the UK.

It's not about who is more likely to get a fair shake where.

Bellew has no significant wins at cruiserweight and only one somewhat significant win at light heavyweight (Chilemba). He has no right to demand that a highly accomplished, long reigning crusierweight champ go to his hometown to fight him. It's ridiculous.
