Comments Thread For: Bellew Will Not Entertain Facing Huck in Germany

As previously reported, Tony Bellew has revealed that talks have been held with three world champions as he targets a title shot in the next few months. The Liverpudlian continued his successful switch to the cruiserweight division with a split decision win over bitter rival Nathan Cleverly in November.

His next fight is expected to be for a world crown and talks have already been held with WBO champion Marco Huck, IBF holder Yoan Pablo Hernandez and WBA king Denis Lebedev.

Bellew can't beat any of those guys though. He can't say he won't entertain the idea when we all know he wouldn't beat any of them.

Bellew is bringing the money to the table, so i don't see why not. He doesn't have to fight Huck, he can fight someone else for a title. Huck is running out of options.

Fair point. Huck even recently said he may as well move up to heavyweight. But I don't think he does too well there. At least against the top guys

            He's that popular?

That he can as the challenger call out the champions to fight in his backyard?

I would think the other guys do pretty well in Germany (Hernandez and Huck)

Maybe he could get Afolabi to test his mettle.

Huck can sell out a venue in Germany against any tomato can. He doesn't need to go to any opponent's backyard to sell. And he definitely doesn't have to fight Bellew anywhere. OK if he does, but let's not act like Huck needs Bellew.

Huck and Yoan Hernandez fight in Germany only.
                Lebedev fights in Russia.

None of the above will come to fight Bellew in the U.K.

Yet again, more BS from this loud-mouth tosser. I hope Huck calls his bluff.
