Technically Mayweather did get Pacquiao off him, it wasn't as damaging as his punches either, all he needed to do was bring up USADA.

Fighters aren't going to show weakness before a fight and actions speak louder than words. Cotto moved up to JMW after this fight. When offered a rematch with Pacquiao Cotto wanted the fight at JMW and refused to go back to WW.

That's Cotto just being smart, coz at JMW Cotto would have more resistance to a Pacquiao punch. With those extra pounds, Cotto will not suffer a knockdown, but the beatdown will be the same, or even worse coz Cotto will even be slower than when he was at WW. Well it's not that smart afterall...
