The cult of Rigo (lol) can't handle the fact that Rigo is not actually RiGOD. They can't handle that he's NOT no P4P King. They cant handle that he is not and will never be as good as Mayweather. Or that he actually has severe flaws that'll hinder his ability to get an elite win besides Donaire (lol.) or that other posters aren't calling him the greatest boxer ever.

And tbis one right here stings the most for delusional Rigo fans the fact that he will NEVER. EVER fight on American TV/Showtime/HBO again (maybe telemundo or the bein channel or whatever it's called tho) and that he's stuck fighting 4-loss fighters who have never fought outaide of Japan...... On Japanese reality TV channel. (And getting dropped twice)

Jesus. In all honesty if my favoeite fighters were under those circumstances I would defend them with my life and cry when someone is not kneeling and praying to them on one knee as well.

Why is Rigo exempt from any form of criticism? He got dropped against a nobody, he's still a hell of a fighter though. If other great fighters catch heat for "struggling" against other top fighters I don't see the issue with criticism towards Rigo's performance.

as long as he keep fighting once a year, against sparring partners. hes in my p4p Kingdom book. doesn't matter that he gets dropped. man got 0 losses like Mayweather. my friends can find a foreign stream to watch his masterpiece battles. and and..I get wet when Rigo steps in the ring. so if you folks don't get wet like I do about Rigo - you know **** about boxing.

Ali, Jmm, Michale Jordan: all got dropped. Kovalev aint **** by the way, he is there for a paycheck. not sure how he keeps winning, I guess Pac's mom put some spells on him. Also negotiations just started right after the fight. my hero might fight that dude, that dresses as Mario in Disneyland. yep yep..and guess what, he will win by KO. Also he is the best amateur, that makes him p4p #2 automaticly. sorry I put him behind Mayweather, I just love Floyd little bit more.

that's how 90% of you guys sound on here. you should be called - Larry and his friends.

You're surprised when people are talking about one of the 3 best boxers in the sport getting dropped by a weight drained club fighter? Talk about thin skinned.

Tremendously talented fighter, but he probably gets murked if he finally moves up 4 lbs.

To me this fight is rather meaningless for Rigondeaux because the flaw or flaws he showed int his fight are essentially baked in the cake. His big thing is his focus drifts and he gets caught with ****** stuff that should never land on him. Against a lesser fighter his focus was even worse than usual, which is bad but not that surprising, I think against a more threatening guy coming in he would be on his best behavior.

A lot of people didn't see it before, more see it now although I don't think most quite realize what is going on.

He is always going to be a guy that fights down to the level of his opposition but that does not mean he would do poorly in bigger fights.
