  • Comments Thread For: Pacquiao's Adviser Not Giving Up on Mayweather Fight

ALTHOUGH he has said time and again that he is not convinced Floyd Mayweather Jr. wants to fight eight-division world champion and Fighter of th Decade Manny Pacquiao, the Filipino icon’s longtime adviser Michael Koncz is still working with Top Rank promoter Bob Arum to try and get the fight done.

Koncz told BoxingScene.com/Manila Standard/Viva Sports that negotiations are still going on.

I hope 160-40 is just a bs rumor. I'm a Floyd fan and that is ridiculous.

Pacquiao said he would fight for free, now all of a sudden 40 mill isn't good enough? I guess his ppl finally convinced him that he has no shot of winning so he really needs to get all that he can now.

That 160/40 mil comment is bollocks. With the cable providers taking half the PPV revenue they would need to sell close to 6 mil to cover the purses.

I think 125/75 would be a fair split right?
