I have not at one point talked about how much they fight could/would make. I have been talking about this supposed 200 million guarantee that has been discussed on this board. We have seen actual checks of Floyds guaranteed money, while nsac has said manny would receive a check for 6 million. So his extra 20 million, who knows where that comes from. My whole discussion has been based around this supposed 200 million guarantee that has floated this board , and all i have stated is that if it is true then they should just both double their highest pay day. That would be the most logical thing.

As far as your de la Hoya comment, I am dealing with the here and now. Oscar has not fought in ten years so him and triple g would not have a guaranteed 102 million. Let's deal with reality please if we are gling to have an adult conversation.

I don't know what Floyd would or would not accept, but essentially it is a bad deal for Floyd. Manny would basically double his highest pay day while Floyd would not down even come close to doubling his highest pay day. I am totally fine with both guys making double their home guest pay day for guaranteed money, anything other than that, the books should be opened and they should work it out that way.

Once again, I am referring to this 200 million guarantee that was supposedly going to the two fighters. That's all i have discussed. It does not matter how that money is distributed from there. We are discussing guaranteed walking in the ring money. Floyd usually walks into the ring with a 32 million guarantee while manny gets 26 (though the nsac has stated otherwise). All I have talked about is the fighters guarantee, nothing else.

But the article doesn't mention anything about guarantees it says the split of an estimated purse of 200million.

So Floyd wants his side to take 80% and leave 20% to Pacs side. That's completely unreasonable when Pac has headlined over 13mil ppv buys.

Who gets guaranteed what, is up to each fighters promotors/backers and isn't really important unless the guarantee is huge or the fight flops.

But the split of the revenue is important, because both sides have to get paid and be happy and that split should be based on the draw each guy bring to THIS fight.

How you work that out you can argue all day but doing it based on the pre fight guarantee of one fight doesn't seem logical to me.

They need to realize that there are numerous factors. Canelo boosted up the PPV numbers not Floyd when they fought. It shows when he fights those who do not have the same kind of fan base as Canelo has.
