Of course, fighting the older, pasts prime is much better in name sense than fighting the young, unknown up and comer.

Floyd could had chosen Berto over Mosley, but Mosley had a much more established name.
    Well let's see.

Pacquiao fans used the same talking point when talking about WHY Pacquiao choose to fight the shot Shane Mosley when Berto was the Undefeated WBC champ...and Shane was coming off 2 losses at that.

Lopsided one from Floyd Mayweather and a gift draw over Sergio Mora.

In the end, yes, the more accomplished name and resume even though past prime is better than the young lion if we take Pacquiao fans logic.

Pac vs Vargas would be atrocious! Despite that it seems to me as if some Floyd fans actually want this to happen for whatever reason.

What? Pacquiao already fought him @ WW. And Pacquiao also only fought @ LMW once, why would he do it again vs a guy he easily beat?

        Use some logic..

Worse. Vargas is nothing more than a good club fighter but at least he's someone Manny hasn't fought yet and will probably go out swinging before he gets KO'ed. Mayweather always does better the second time around. He will pot shot Cotto and win a predictable boring UD.

Much better fight. Vargas is average at best. Pac will destroy that kid.

I think Cotto does better in the rematch. Floyd isn't the same fighter as the first time round. Cotto's conditioning seems to of improved, he is more accustomed to the weight, he believes in himself more and Roach and won't waste 6-7 rounds trying to box.

I think the rematch will be very close. I think Cotto gives him all he can handle and its a tougher fight than a lot that fans are calling for.

How has Cotto gone from a re-energised fighter to an over-the-hill, faded no-hoper all because hes in talks of fighting Floyd?

Half these guys was saying Cotto under Roach buries Floyd before

Bro stop appeasing these double standards. I know it's popular to try and criticize Mayweather to get **** riders for your comments, but the truth is a much better thing to stand by. Pacquiao vs Vargas is the worst piece of **** fight, worse than Bam Bam Rios, worse than Clottey, worse than Algieri. Plus they are trying to pick on fighters in smaller weight classes just making names for them self, like Crawford and Mikey Garcia.

Cotto vs Mayweather is an excellent fight to make, forget what y'all talking about. How are the B-sides(Pacquiao, Canelo) dictating anything or making up contracts to the A-sides (Cotto, Mayweather)? Whenever in history is the A side the one told to make concessions? Let's stop the double standard, we understand he's not the complexion that's able to call shots because it makes people upset and angry.

Canelo doesn't deserve Cinco De Mayo, he got his ass whipped for 12 rounds straight on Mexican independence day by Mayweather, who always fight and sign contractual holds on the first weekend of May. Pacquiao didn't even say he accept the challenge on May 2nd instead he's repeating himself, and letting Bob Arum put up some racial bs like, no one should fight on May 2nd if they not Mexican. Yet everyone got on Broner for his everyone can get it comments.. come on son

I considered Algeri to be as bad as "Rod Salka" for Pac and i rate Vargas lower.

It's the elephant in the room, no one wants to directly identify what it is.

His complexion is what dictates their perception.. That simple.. **** it I said it.

Anyway, Bob is trying to force Garcia and Crawford in to a fight with Pacquiao by making them jump weight classes. Crawford has better potential but he's so desperate to try and destroy Mayweather power in boxing, that he will make a pre-mature bout like that happen. The only positive will be for Crawford to win as his momentum and popularity is on great come up streak and a victory against Pac should be the outcome to solidify him as a future PPV star. That's not Bob plan though.. His plan is to try and similuate to the fans tht hate Mayweather, what will happen between him and Pac. Even if Pac gets brutally out-boxed by Crawford he's going to rob and give him his first loss, to moisten these fans vaginas.
