Ok so they lost money on both Floyd/Maidana fights and they only paid Maidana $1.5mil for each yet they can afford to pay Cotto in upwards of $10mil and expect not to lose? How?

And if u ask a drunkard they will all invariably say they can drive. Just cause cotto felt strong doesnt mean he was. Cotto starved during training to make 145 for paq. Pac ate 8000 calories a day for the cotto fight. Who do you think was the stronger of the two fight night?? The actual fight gave u the answer. Look at the 24/7 for that fight and you will see pac being fees weight gainer shakes on top of his meals.

Do you really expect Showtime to release an official statement on how they lost millions of dollars between both of those fights? Look, where there's smoke there's fire. Several different sources aren't reporting the same thing because there's no truth to it.

Truth is, Showtime shot themselves in the foot with that contract they gave Floyd and cant afford to pay Floyd's opponents big money unless huge ppv #'s are pretty much guaranteed.

So in other words, you don't know. Therefore, you can't assume. We can go back and forth but given that they paid Maidana $5m at MOST for both fights each, I doubt very much they took a loss. Either way, one can't assume.

Showtime doesnt pay Floyd's opponents. Floyd does. Floyd also pays for the undercard himself.
