No, I and many others prefer Khan over Cotto as much as I dislike that fight.

No you demented potato brain it was just the Cotto groupies spouting that nonsense.

Lineal belt or a named fighter for ppv? Floyd's fooled you so many times and you're still falling for it. Imbecilic fans if you ask me. When will you people stand up for boxing instead of making Floyd richer?

We all know that Cotto holds that by name only. If Golovkin was the one to have held that instead of Cotto. Most of the Floyd fans who are saying what you just posted would NEVER had brought it up.

This is a cherry pick. Plain and simple. "For da MW title doe" well Floyd should've fought Martinez.

Fight Manny or **** off from your May date.
Sorry brother but 10-2 is not an accurate reflexion of their first fight. Worst case is 8-4. I personally had it 7-5. Conditioning was the main issue. Cotto rain out of gas after round 8 when he was giving it to mayweather pretty hard. Mayweather ran with it thereafter. Floyd win fair and square. All cotto needs to do is condition himself better which I believe he has done. And not box as much. Run up on him and drop bombs Not saying he will win but the fight will be substantially more interesting the second time around.

Nobody wanted a rematch. Even with your worst case scenario. If this was about legacy, and floyd being a mw champion, hes had several years to do so. But no. He waits until someone he has already beaten, is the middleweight champion. Typical. But the fact of the matter is, who really wanted a rematch before Cotto moved up and beat a no legged Sergio?

                  Nobody.

In think Cotto and Floyd see opportunity in each other at the moment. Floyd sees a shot at some fake history, Cotto genuinely believes he's a force under Roach and could make some real history.

The longer the Canelo negotiations drag on the more plausible it seems.
I don't think Floyd sees a shot to make fake history, he just sees a chance to make big money. That's it. And it seems Cotto is a back-up option, like Garcia, Khan, Brook, etc.

At the end of the day, it's a fight I can't get excited about because the Pacquiao fight is still out there and there seems to be a chance it might happen. But as far as second options go, you could do much much worse than Cotto.
