I doesn't. Quite the opposite actually. Canelo is only trying to bait cotto. Shows canelos immaturity. Cotto is not falling for the lame trick. Canelo is getting desperate not to lose face. Without Floyd or cotto Canelo is not a viable ppv star. If cotto goes Floyd route Canelo will quickly find out he is not the star he was and can't punk Floyd or cotto. Not that Canelo won't be become one. He won't be until the big three are out of the sport, Floyd, pac and cotto. He just needs to be patient. Unfortunately he is not. He's been making Canelo's ass sweat since 2012 tho.... Cotto's been harder for Canelo to bump bodies with than a 90 year old lesbian! First he was going on vacation, then he was fighting Trout instead, then because he wanted to fight for the middleweight strap, etc, etc. But Canelo's the most winnable big money fight for Cotto, alot easier than Golovkin or Floyd.... and he should beat Canelo rather easily like he did Sergio. Cotto can then make Mayweather money in 2015 if he starts with and whups Canelo first and then moves to another harder fight for alot more money. He just needs to get over that psychological hump and take a leap of faith. I say they make the Canelo fight in San Antonio with 60,000 fans in the Alamodome! That's where the money is at.

If that fight goes down the alamodome would be insane. I'm a cotto fan and still would like it there I was at Canelo v trout and the dome out of control. By far more exciting than any fight I've seen in person. Better than MGM and msg. And I saw may v cotto and cotto v Martinez.

There quite a few ricans in San Antonio due to the massive military complex there. So it won't be total Mexican domination. I think it would be great there.

Tell you what, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Cotto ends up fighting Bradley at 154. This is the fight Arum was pushing all last year and I believe had Bradley beaten Chavez, this fight would have been announced. I think Arum is offering Cotto big money for a PPV fight against Bradley and possible behind the scenes negotiations with Mayweather may be why Cotto-Canelo is not close to being done. There was an article a few days ago where Penagaricano said right now they would prefer to fight Bradley over GGG because Bradley has defeated top fighters, has been in with the best, has been on PPV, and is considered amongst the top 10 P4P. I could see Cotto fighting Bradley in April and Canelo in september.
